The Luxembourg Childhood Vaccination Schedule as on 1 April 2008

1 Only for children born to HBsAg positive mothers.
2 Given as a combined hexavalent vaccine.
3 Given as a combined pentavalent vaccine.
4 As part of a HepB catch-up programme.
5 Recommended for females only with a catch-up programme up the age of 18 years.
6 dTaP and IPV recommended every 10 years after the age of 16 years.

Additional comments
All vaccinations in Luxembourg are given free of charge.
dTaP and IPV is recommended every 10 years thereafter childhood vaccination.

Historic changes

1986: The combined MMR vaccine was introduced in the national childhood vaccination schedule and recommended at 15-18 months of age.
1994: The second MMR dose was introduced in the national childhood vaccination schedule and recommended at 5-7 years.
2008: March 2008. HPV vaccination was introduced in the national childhood vaccination schedule for females aged 12 years with a catch-up programme up to 18 years of age.
